The engine needs a repair
Some engine files are damaged. Malbec can unpack a fresh copy. Your games, settings and sign-ins stay.
What happened
Some of the engine’s files are not the ones Malbec installed, for example after a disk error or an update that was interrupted.
The fix
Click Repair Engine. Malbec unpacks a fresh copy of the engine from the app. Your games, settings and sign-ins stay.
When to write to us
If the engine is damaged again after a repair, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
