The new engine didn’t install
Malbec is still using the previous engine, so your games keep working.
What happened
Malbec tried to install a newer engine and couldn’t finish. It kept the engine you had, so your games run as before.
The fix
Click Try Again. If your Mac is nearly full, free some space first.
When to write to us
If it fails twice, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
