Battle.net (China) can’t be set up yet
Malbec checks who signed every installer before it runs one, and the signer of the store’s installer isn’t confirmed yet. Nothing was installed. An update to Malbec will add it.
What happened
Malbec runs a store’s installer only when it is signed by the company Malbec expects, such as Blizzard for the global Battle.net. For the installer of China’s Battle.net, this version of Malbec doesn’t have a confirmed signer yet, so it doesn’t run it. Nothing was installed, and the global Battle.net and Steam aren’t affected.
The fix
Nothing to do now. An update to Malbec will add the signer, and Malbec checks for updates on its own. Until then you can set up the global Battle.net or Steam as usual.
When to write to us
If Malbec still says this after an update, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
