Rosetta is needed
Windows games run through Apple’s Rosetta. macOS installs it in about a minute.
What happened
Windows games on a Mac with Apple silicon run through Rosetta 2, Apple’s translator for Intel code. macOS installs it only when an app asks, and it isn’t on this Mac yet.
The fix
Click Install Rosetta. macOS asks for your permission and downloads it from Apple. If the button doesn’t work, open Terminal and run softwareupdate --install-rosetta, then open Malbec again.
When to write to us
If Rosetta is installed and Malbec still asks for it, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
