Malbec can’t write to its folder
Its folder needs a Mac disk that isn’t read-only or case-sensitive. Check the disk in Disk Utility, then try again.
What happened
Malbec keeps its engine, stores and games in its folder in your Library (Application Support › Malbec). The disk that folder is on is read-only, or it is formatted as case-sensitive, and Windows games expect a disk that isn’t.
The fix
Open Disk Utility, select the disk and run First Aid. Then click Try Again.
When to write to us
If the disk passes First Aid, isn’t case-sensitive, and Malbec still says this, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
