Battle.net wasn’t installed
The installer didn’t finish in 30 minutes. Start it again and click Continue in its window.
What happened
Battle.net’s installer waits for you to click Continue in its window. After 30 minutes without a finished install, Malbec stopped waiting. On some home networks the installer also stalls partway through while Windows looks for a network proxy, which Malbec turns off unless your Mac finds its proxy automatically.
The fix
Click Try Again. When the Battle.net installer’s window opens, click Continue. If it stalls at the same point again, change Detect network proxy automatically for Battle.net in Settings › Games (see Network proxy detection), then try again.
When to write to us
If the installer’s window never appears, or it stalls with the setting on and off, write to us with a diagnostics file.
Email support@malbec.app. For a diagnostics file, choose Help › Export Diagnostics… in Malbec and attach the zip it saves. It has no account details, and your home folder is masked.
